Terms & Conditions

  • The hall shall be available between 12pm – 7pm on the day of event. Any additional time beyond 7pm will be paid
    for on a pro rata basis. The rate per additional 1hr is N150,000. The time extension is subject to management
    approval.
    ● The hall booking fee includes a free apartment which will be available for check-in from 12pm on the day of the
    event. If the Event Owner and/or Event Organizer chooses to stay overnight, he/she will be expected to check out
    by 8am the following day.
    ● There is a second apartment in the venue which is available for additional booking. Availability will be confirmed
    by the management if requested by the Event Owner and/or Event Organizer. The rate for the apartment is N150,000.
    ● When booking the hall, a security deposit/caution fee will be made by the Event Owner and / or Event Organizer
    (NGN200,000) to cover any incidental damage in the hall or apartment. However, if the damage exceeds the deposit,
    the cost will be reevaluated and agreed with the Event Owner. Final payments shall be made to cover the difference
    between the deposit and the reevaluated amount. No smoking allowed in the apartments. Breach of this requirement
    will cause the Event Owner/Event Organizer to pay a fine of N100,000.
    ● Decorations should be carried out on the day of the event from 6am. The decorations can be dropped off the prior
    evening subject to agreement with the management. All items dropped shall be at Event Owner and/or Event
    Organizer’s own risk.
    ● If there are no prior events, management may allow the decorations to commence a day to the event. Any request for
    a longer decoration time will be subject to management approval. To enable seamless transitions for back-to-back
    events, Event Owner/Event Organizer may be asked to coordinate their activities
    ● If the Event Owner and / or Event Organizer chooses to carry out the decorations at night prior to the date of the
    event, they will be responsible for providing the energy required to light up the hall if there is no light from the grid
    ● Event Owner and/or Event Organizer shall be responsible for clearing up all installations from the hall immediately
    after their event is completed.
    ● If additional light fittings are to be installed, connections must be made in conjunction with the facility management
    team.
    ● All vehicles parked at the event centre are at the owner’s own risk. No vehicles shall be left overnight at the event
    centre without management approval.

1 – 30 days before the event 100% of the value of the contract will be charged and no refund will be made.
>31days prior to the event Full credit will be forwarded to the new postponed date.

CANCELLATION:

1-30 days prior to the event 100% of the value of the contract will be charged and no refund will be made.
60 – 31 days prior to the event 50% will be charged
60 days prior to the event 25% will be charged

TERMINATION:

HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE reserves the right to terminate this contract without any prejudice to its right if:

  • The Event Owner and / or Event Organizer fail to comply with, or breaches the contract, terms and conditions, or the signed Event Order Form.
  • The Event Owner and / or Event Organizer intend to use the premises for an event other than the one specified in the contract in the Event Order Form.
  • The Event may lead to breach of peace, acts of violence or possible damage to HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE or its contents.
  • The event contravenes any legislative or statutory regulations.
  • The nature of the event is undesirable to HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE (nature of the event should be clearly communicated to the management of HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE and approved by same).
  • The Event Owner and/or Event Organizer are placed under financial sequestration, liquidation, judicial management or bankruptcy.

  • Should termination occur, HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE will retain any fee(s) already paid. In case of breach of contract, and at the discretion of HOROSCOPE EVENTS AND MORE, parties to those contracts agree to the jurisdiction of the Nigeria court.
